I’m considering having a non-surgical aesthetic procedure. Will it be obvious that I’ve had fillers or Botox?
The goal at Stratus is to help our patients show the beauty that lies inside them. We do this by providing natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing results. While your friends and family might notice something is different, or comment that you look younger or more energized, they will likely not be able to guess the reason why.
How much time will I need to allow for recovery?
While there is no one answer, most non-surgical aesthetic procedures will allow you to return to work and activities the same day or within a day or two. Though some discomfort may be experienced, most of these procedures have very little down time and will show results immediately.
Why is it important to have a board-certified plastic surgeon if I’m considering a non-surgical aesthetic procedure?
Many non-surgical aesthetic procedures do not require administration by a board-certified plastic surgeon, but it is always advisable to consider training and experience when selecting a provider. Plastic surgeons have been well trained to know and understand the underlying anatomical structures of the face and body, giving them an advantage when administering fillers and other treatments. Less experienced providers often find a higher percentage of side effects reported in their patient populations.
